Admissions
We are a large community primary school, committed to catering for the strengths and talents of each individual. Pupils are offered a wide range of extra-curricular clubs and activities in addition to a diverse and exciting curriculum.
Kent Local Authority (LA) co-ordinates the admission arrangements of all primary schools in the County. This means that instead of applying separately to different schools you can apply online at www.kent.gov.uk/primaryadmissions naming up to three schools. Our Published Admissions number (PAN) is 90 per year group. Our places are allocated based on the following priorities
- Children in local authority care or previously in local authority care
- Current family association - sibling
- Health and special access reasons
- Nearness of children’s home

Sevenoaks Primary School Open Mornings 2025
If you have a child who will be starting school in September 2026, you are warmly invited to come and visit us on one of our Open Mornings, starting at 9:30am and finishing at approximately 10:30am on the following dates:
- Wednesday 24th September 2025
- Thursday 9th October 2025
- Wednesday 15th October 2025
- Thursday 6th November 2025
- Wednesday 19th November 2025

During the tour, there will be the opportunity to meet Mrs Malone, our Head Teacher and Mrs Bye, our Phase 1 Leader, followed by a tour of the school led by our Year 6 pupils.
These tours are aimed primarily at parents looking for Foundation Stage class places for their child due to start school in September 2026.
Our Open Mornings are the best way to get a taste of Life at Sevenoaks Primary School, where you can see evidence of how your child will flourish from their first day with us when they become part of our School family.

Appeals Process
If your child is due to start Primary school in September 2025, you can appeal if you are refused a place at one of your preferred schools on National Offer Day (Wednesday, 16 April 2025). You needed to submit your appeal before Tuesday, 20th May 2025 for it to be considered by Friday, 18th July 2025. Any appeals received after this time will be heard within 40 school days from the deadline, or where reasonably possible in line with updated guidance from the Department for Education.
For late applications, appeals should be heard within 40 school days from the deadline for lodging appeals where possible, or within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged where reasonably possible in line with updated guidance from the Department for Education
