Sarah Collins
Sarah Collins
I have been a parent governor since December 2016, and I have just been re-elected for a further 4 years. As a governor my interests and passions lie in developing the Learning and Teaching of the pupils at the school, Pupil premium and the sports funding.
I currently have 1 child at the school and an older daughter who left a few years ago. They have both thrived during their time at the school. They have a love of learning and a zest for life, that I truly believe is due to the care and guidance of all those who work at Sevenoaks Primary School.
I have 18 years experience in Education, teaching Physical Education at secondary school level. During this time, I have focused on pastoral care and the nurturing of children to enable them to have the individual tools they need for learning. I have also taken lead roles in the qualification areas of the subject at GCSE and A Level.

With a keen interest in the school's financial management, I engage actively across all areas of governance. My passion for education has led to my involvement in mentoring schemes and breakfast clubs in London.
Professionally, I specialise in finance with a focus on charities and sustainability. I am also a trustee of a 'Relief in Need' charity, which further drives my commitment to community service.
On a personal note, I am proud to have three children currently attending SPS.
